  • Firefox Relay This is a free service offered by the makers of the firefox browser. You can set up alias email addresses that connect to your real address. Email goes to the alias and then is forwarded to your real address and you can delete and add new addresses at will.
  • Firefox Send4 outta 5 is a free service that allows you to send large attachments that otherwise would be blocked by the usual email size limitations. You transfer the files and the site generates a link that you can send to 20 or less recipients who can use it to complete the download.

  • Media-Convert converts your audio, video, text, or spreadsheet files from one format to another - for free. Results are emailed.
  • Zamzar converts your audio, video, text, or spreadsheet files from one format to another - for free. Can do multiple files as a single batch.
  • Mux converts video files. You upload a file or give the URL location and it converts it and sends you an email with the URL location of the converted file.
  • Cloud Convert converts a lot of different format files including graphic and text files. It's free with no sign up.

  • rsizr This is a free online service. You upload a picture and it can resize the picture without squishing stuff. You can reduce the size of screen shots without losing fidelity.

  • pForms is a free forms generator that lets you create attractive forms for your Web page with the HTML that pForm generates.
  • RSVP Form Tools - five Web based services that allow you to build forms for free.
  • uTipu - records the activity on your screen with narration so you can share it with others. It uses some software that you need to install on your local desktop, unlike Jing. Free.

  • PlanningWiz - is a Web based room planning application. It lets you set the size of the room, place objects, etc. No registration required (Yea!!!).

  • Anyclient is a Web service or a downloadable program. Either way, you can use it to FTP files.

  • FlyPaper - is a free Web service that lets you create a Flash presentation from slides or photos. Requires some software to be downloaded and installed on the local PC.

  • DimDim allows you to set up Web meetings. You have to download a client for the presenter machine, but all others don't need anything but a browser with Flash. You can converse, share your desktop, etc. Kind of like WebEx without the license fees.
  • Zamzar - online file conversion. Free. One of the conversions is pdf to doc.
  • PDF to Word You upload a PDF document and the site converts it and sends the conversion to you by email. Free
  • Dropio4 out of 5 - allows you to transfer large files to their servers and then alert others who can access it and transfer it. No registration. Free. Easy.
  • reep.io allows you to share files with others - similar to Dropio. You select a file, share a URL, and wait while the file is transferred via your browser.

  • PlanCruncher walks you through the steps for creating a concise business plan.
  • Blogger is provided by Google and lets you create and maintain your own blog - free. You have to have a Google account which is also free.
  • Snapguide - is a site that lets anyone create a guide or simple how-to. You can browse the guides of others.
  • WikiMatrix - reviews wiki services. You can select a couple to compare and the information on each is significant and useful.
  • SlyDial is a service that lets you send a message directly to your recipient's voice mail without having to call them. You dial the SlyDial number and then the recipient's number, leave you message, and the service sends the recorded message to the recipient.
  • Did They Read It lets you add a tracker image to an email that then tells you when, or if, the email was actually opened.
  • IFTTT 'If this then that' is a programming concept that causes something to happen when something else precedes it. This site will let you create events like sending you an email when a weather app predicts rain. It sounds more complicated than it is but requires some imagination to do useful things.
