reviews local courses. Most have not been reviewed yet but this is the best list of courses in the area.
- PhillyGolf gives you minimal info on courses within driving (by auto) distance of Philadelphia. Also has links to the rules of golf.

- GolfWeb includes a database that has descriptions of courses as written by the public. They call it their OnCourse Reader Supplement. You have to dig for it and it is not very thorough.

- Golf and Travel has some great photos but most of the site is still 'under construction', meaning, it doesn't work yet.
- thegolfdeal.com where you pick your destination (mostly mid north east), select the courses you want to play in the area you selected, and then enter the price you want to pay. It tells you what you would regularly pay for the courses you selected. If your bid is accepted, that's what you pay.
